One of the ram slots is broken it can turn on with one ram in, but will not with one in the broken ram slot (So it Technically Turns on) but it would only be running on 4gb of ram Either fix the ram slot or get a bigger ram for the working slot (Included with ram from the broken slot) 4gb on both ram One in the Laptop One on the side
