Has the box of the laptop been opened after Dell shipped to Plaza Laptops?A. We open the box to conduct an external check of the laptop. We do this to make sure the laptop doesn’t have any major damage, the service tag matches the invoice, the laptop is not DOA, and the specifications stated on the Dell invoice are identical. In most cases, we do not boot the system; we only check the BIOS. If the laptop was booted, this will be stated at the beginning of the auction next to the item number. After the system is checked, the box is resealed using the factory tape.Q. How does Dell end up with these laptops for sale?A.
