Fresh install of Windows XP Pro SP3. Bumped up the RAM to 1.5GB (I don’t have many 1GB sticks of DDR1 lying around), I put a 40GB HDD into it. Maybe its a backlight and after it warms up the colors get better Hard to say what this is worth, I see a similar laptop with the GPU, but only has the 1024×768 screen.
