This laptop comes with its original configuration. It doesn’t require password to log in but may require password for some admin privileges – I don’t know the password. I would recommend probably installing a new OS? I have noticed that the current date is not correct but it doesn’t show a message about it or about the CMOS battery, so probably just haven’t been powered on for a while. Overall consider in needs some TLC Laptop only is included, no charger # 1417
